3rd Party Network

Connecting to any 3rd party network#

Service edge connections can be established to any 3rd party network, even those that aren't MPLS.

By installing physical or virtual EVXs, or by using industry standard tunneling protocols such as OpenVPN, IPsec or Wireguard, or by running physical interconnects, disparate networks can be joined together with the Intelligent Network Fabric.

Range of handoff protocols#

There are some deprecated protocols such as PPTP which can no longer be used, but the following is a list of hand off protocols that could be used:

  • EVX
  • MPLS
  • IPsec
  • Wireguard
  • GRE/GRETAP
  • VXLAN
  • OpenVPN

Others may be available on request.
